001 — What we do

THE PLATFORM

Quickie+ is a subscription-based gay adult content platform. Subscribers get unlimited access to a growing library of creator-owned clips. No per-scene purchases, no upsells, no friction.

The platform launched out of the StartX accelerator at Stanford, and was built to solve a problem that had been ignored by every major player in the industry: gay adult content platforms consistently exploit the very creators who make them valuable.

On Quickie+, content is licensed from performers. Not owned by the platform. Every clip is produced by an independent creator who sets their own terms, keeps their back catalogue, and earns a transparent per-view rate every time someone watches.

The model is simple. Performers upload. Subscribers watch. Creators earn. The platform grows.

HOW WE WORK
WITH PERFORMERS

The adult content industry has a well-documented revenue problem. Tube sites, the dominant model, pay creators pennies for thousands of views, if anything at all. OnlyFans charges 20% of every transaction. Most platforms treat performers as interchangeable suppliers, not partners.

Quickie+ was designed differently from the start. Performers are paid 5–10¢ for every qualifying view, approximately 100 times more than they would earn on a traditional tube site. There's no exclusivity requirement, no content ownership transfer, and no minimum upload commitment.

"

After talking to hundreds of creators around the world, I realized there was a common problem. All of us had tons of content in our back catalogue that we'd spent hundreds of hours making, yet it no longer was generating revenue.

Grant McNaughton, Founder & CEO, Quickie+

Performers keep ownership of everything they upload. Their back catalogue keeps earning passively as the subscriber base grows. During the platform's launch phase, Quickie+ has also paid flat-rate bonuses to early creators as a direct investment in the people building the library.

◆
No exclusivity, ever
Creators keep all other accounts, platforms, and revenue streams. Quickie+ is additive, not possessive. Upload the same content you're already making.
✦
Passive income from back catalogue
Content uploaded today keeps earning as the subscriber base grows. Old clips compound in value as the platform grows.

Creator-first from the ground up
The platform was founded by a former content creator. Policy decisions are made with performers in the room, not around them.

Grant McNaughton founded Quickie+ to address a gap that was obvious to anyone paying attention: the queer adult content industry had never been built for the people it depends on most.

Grant is a serial entrepreneur. At 12, he completed a web design course at Mount Royal University in Calgary and cold-emailed app developers to land his first clients, building Ventus Business Solutions from scratch. At 14, he was featured in the Calgary Herald for his work.

Grant earned his HBA at Ivey Business School at Western University. While there, he conducted a research study into 2SLGBTQ+ inclusion at business schools across Canada and started both a wheelchair recycling startup and a tea company.

Grant spent three years at Bain & Company in Toronto advising on strategy and operations, then earned his MBA from Stanford's Graduate School of Business. He was also a content creator before attending Stanford, giving him a first-hand understanding of the financial instability that most platforms impose on performers. His graduate research at Stanford examined creator economics and platform design.

Quickie+ launched through StartX, the Stanford-affiliated accelerator, giving the company institutional credibility and access to operators who understood what it takes to build consumer platforms at scale.

Since launching in 2025, Quickie+ has grown to hundreds of creators, thousands of subscribers, and hundreds of thousands of streams.
